You are invited to attend the OSHA 2021 Annual Conference "Meeting the Moment".  This year's conference will be a live, virtual event.  National speakers, Dr. Dionna Latimer-Hearn and Dr. Ianessa Humbert, are featured on Friday, as well as a number of individuals from around the state providing presentations on Friday & Saturday as well as poster/technical sessions on Saturday. Many thanks to the practicing clinicians and students who are offering their time and energy in presenting this year. This two-day conference offers up to 14.5 hours of continuing education.

Some highlights of this year's program include:

  • Friday Sessions, featuring Q Inclusion, Dr. Latimer-Hearn, and Dr. Humbert. Three concurrent sessions start at 8:30 a.m.  Three additional concurrent sessions are offered at 1:00 pm.  Each session provides attendees with 3.0 hours of continuing education
  • Friday Awards and Business Meeting: 12:00 - 1:00 pm.  
  • Friday Plenary Session. Re-envisioning CSD Programs, Practice, and Research, presented by Teresa Girolamo, an NIH T32 postdoctoral trainee and Samantha Ghali, CCC-SLP, a PhD Candidate and an NIH T32 predoctoral trainee.  (1.5 hours of continuing education).
  • Saturday Sessions. The morning starts at 8:30 with four concurrent sessions, each offering 1.5 hours of continuing education.  Followed by, four additional concurrent presentations starting at 10:15 am, each offering 1.0 hours of continuing education. Following poster/tech sessions, concurrent sessions will run from 1:45 to 3:15 each offering 1.5 hour of continuing education.
  • Saturday Poster/Tech Sessions: 11:30 - 1:30 pm. 20 poster sessions will be available, offering a diverse selection of cutting-edge research.  Attendees can earn up to a maximum of 2.0 hours of continuing education for attending eight 15-minute sessions (minimum attendance required is two 15-minute sessions to earn 0.5 hours of continuing education).
  • Saturday Supervision and Ethics Sessions: Designed to meet the ASHA CE Requirements. Available Saturday afternoon Resumes & Interviewing (1 hour of continuing education) or a clinical supervision session (2 hours of continuing education).
