You are invited to attend the OSHA 2020 Annual Conference "OSHA Strong".  This year's conference will be a live, virtual event.  As you will see from the brochure, several national speakers are featured on Friday, as well as a number of individuals from around the state providing presentations or poster/technical sessions on Saturday. Many thanks go to the practicing clinicians and students who are offering their time and energy in presenting this year. This two-day conference is offered for 15.5 hours of continuing education.

Some highlights of this year's program include:

  • Friday Morning and Afternoon Sessions.   Five concurrent sessions start at 8:00 a.m.  Five more concurrent sessions are offered at 12:45 pm.  Each session provides attendees with 3.0 hours of continuing education
  • Awards and Business Meeting:  Friday 11:30 - 12:30 pm 
  • Plenary Session.  Being the Change: Working for Inclusion, Equity, and Justice Where You Are, presented by Dr. Susan Shaw, Oregon State University (1.5 hours of continuing education).
  • Saturday Morning and Afternoon Sessions. The morning starts at 8:00 with six concurrent sessions, each offering 2.0 hours of continuing education.  Later that morning, six additional concurrent presentations are offered starting at 10:15 am, each offering 2.0 hours of continuing education.  In the afternoon, six concurrent sessions run from 2:45 to 3:45, followed by six more concurrent sessions offered from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.  Each of the afternoon sessions provides 1.0 hour of continuing education.
  • Poster/Tech Sessions: Saturday, 12:30 - 2:30 pm.  More than 25 poster sessions will be available Saturday, offering a diverse selection of cutting-edge research.  Attendees can earn up to a maximum of 2.0 hours of continuing education for attending eight 15-minute sessions (minimum attendance required is two 15-minute sessions to earn 0.5 hours of continuing education).
  • Sessions designed to meet the ASHA CE Requirements related to Supervision and Ethics--checkout the Friday afternoon session "The Four Elements of Clinical Education and Supervision" (3 hours of continuing education) and the Saturday afternoon session "Ethics and Advocacy for Speech-Language Pathologists" (1 hour of continuing education).
