At the conference this year, OSHA will be revamping the Silent Auction to include items and services donated by its membership.  All proceeds will benefit the Grow Your Own SLP Project that provides outreach materials and activities to school districts in order to build awareness of the field of speech and language pathology.  You may be thinking to yourself, “What can I donate?”  Instead, start thinking, “What businesses, resorts or service agencies can I approach to ask for a donation?”  Just think of it, a table full of gift certificates for services that our membership may need or want.  For example, overnight stays at resorts across the state, massage and facials, restaurant gift cards, or new snow tires for the winter.  Theme baskets and homemade items are encouraged, as well.  Each member who donates an item or service will be entered into a drawing for a special prize.  A donation letter to send to target donors will be available for download on the OSHA website. The sky is the limit!  Be creative and have fun with it!
