The ALS Association of OR & SW Washington is seeking a dynamic individual to support people and families living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) to access assistive technology for communication and independence. This position coordinates our statewide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) program. Knowledge and experience with progressive disability, physical rehabilitation and clinical experience with AAC and assistive technology preferred. Position requires travel and spending direct hands on time working with people with ALS and their families in the community as well as serving on a multi-disciplinary team at a chapter affiliated ALS specialty care clinic.

Extensive resources, education and support in learning about AAC and ALS for the right candidate.
