Abstract:
Session will address strategies for in-session behavioral challenges. Ways to conceptualize challenges will be emphasized, as will practical interventions for use by non-behaviorally trained clinicians. Ample time for discussion and application of material to existing case examples will be provided. Focus will be on strategies for children.

Kurt A. Freeman, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry and behavioral psychologist at the Child Development and Rehabilitation, Oregon Health & Science University. His clinical and research activities emphasize methods of behavioral assessment and treatment for children with and without special health care needs, particularly strategies applicable in applied settings. |
